"Hey, next week is Unloading Week!"

When I first arrived at Miami, several people were skeptical of how "little" work we did. And, while I explained that science tells us that "more is not better," I don't think everyone believed me.

Well, today, a few different girls said to me "Hey, next week is unloading week, isn't it?" It was obvious that they were excited to be approaching a semi-break from our "little" amount of work...I loved it!

As I've said before, we use the latest science to give our athletes every chance to reach their maximum potential. This type of approach allows everyone- whether you run 55 seconds in the 400m Dash, or 65 in the 400m Dash- to become the best athlete that they can be. And, who doesn't want to be the best athlete that they can be?

How Good Do You Want To Be?

At Miami, we use a very scientific approach to training. This type of approach allows our athletes to reach their maximum potential. And, who doesn't want to become the best that they can be?

So far, the ladies seem to be responding well to the training. In fact, I couldn't be happier with how the ladies are progressing. They are well on their way to PR's in February and May.

Countdown to MAC's...127 days.

A New Era...

A New Era begins for Miami Women's Track & Field during the 2009-2010 season...and I couldn't be more excited!

Miami Women's Track & Field is committed to winning, and winning the right way. To do this, we will do two things:
1) We will recruit the very best student-athletes.
2) We will provide an environment where the best are allowed to become even better.
